The Ghana National Union of Polytechnic Students (GNUPS) has petitioned former presidents J. A. Kuffour and J. J. Rawlings, National Chief Imam, Christian Council, Speaker of Parliament, Chief of Staff, National Peace Council, Council of State and other influential bodies in the Nation to intervene and speak to the government and all relevant stakeholders to get the strike resolved. The Nation Stands a greater risk if 70,000 Polytechnic students are denied training to become responsible enough to contribute to National Development. We advise all our students to stay calm for the union will play its required role in solving this impasse.
