233 live news confirmed that a final year student
of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and
Technology (KNUST) participating in the ongoing
inter-university sports competition at the
University of Cape Coast has died.
The student, identified as Abdul Fatau Issa was
until his demise a member of his school?s
handball team at the ongoing GUSA games.
According to our reporter on the grounds of the
games, the deceased pass out in an epileptic
attack while playing for his team and died few
minutes afterwards.
The mood in the KNUST camp is solemn with the
entire team left in shock and dismay.
The Ghana Universities Sports Association
(GUSA) games started last Wednesday and
features all public Universities in Ghana.
