I am very sad to hear of the unfortunate accident that befell the SRC of Central University College today.
I wish to express my sincerest heartfelt condolence and sympathy to the Families of the victims, the Management of CUC, the SRC and the entire student body of CUC on behalf the Students of University of Ghana, Accra City Campus.
It is rather unfortunate that our Colleague Student Leaders who were on their way from Mataheko to Prampram for a meeting with their Dean of Students were met with such a tragedy.
It is very sad for such a thing to happen to young leaders and students who are full of dreams of a better tomorrow.
We must all rally behind the family and victims with prayers at this crucial moment.
At this crucial time even as we will have to sympathy with our colleagues, there are many questions that one may like to ask from the rumour gathered.
1.How true is it that the driver of the said vehicle was a student?
2. If that was true, was he having the right qualification to drive such a car?
3. Is the SRC having a driver? If yes where was he at the time?
Until the above questions are answered to enable us find lasting solutions to such challenge, we can only task the police and the various law enforcement bodies to do a thorough investigation of the matter and give us the right answers.
May the Good Lord Heal the injured and help the departed soul to rest in Perfect Peace.
Prosper Dzitse,
Local NUGS President of UG-ACC.
