INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY MESSAGE FROM USAG WOMEN'S COMMISSIONER

I believe that no country can move forward in the right direction when women's voices are silenced or not heard,our bodies exploited and our rights infringed upon.Oppression of women goes hand in hand with failed societies and failed society is a danger to peace and stability.

As we celebrate this day lets be determined,stay focus and rise up to encourage more women to take up the mandate of leadership.When we are empowered together we can build our nation and the world at large.
I call on all women to be agents of change as we celebrate this day.
