THE NUGS WOMEN COMMISSIONER Ms Patience Annakra and Dr Gifty Anti yesterday (6th March, 2014) graced the pre International Women's Day Seminar organised by the UDS Tamale Campus Women Commission.
The seminar was on the theme " Pregnancy should not stop you ".
The two distinguished women gave wonderful speeches on the fact that pregnancy shouldn not stop any woman.They emphazied on the fact that soo many women drop out of school or kill their dreams because they get pregnant along the way and encouraged all not to make pregnancy a barrier.
Some ladies who were students in the audience and had experienced pregnancy also shared their stories and how they did not allow it to draw them back. At the end of the day Ms Parience Annankra gave an advice to all students that pregnancy should not stop them from acheiving what they want in life. It might be a mistake, but it can be a blessing if they want it to.
