The number of votes cast per each category helps as to determine how competitive each category is and so far, as per the level of competition,
  1. INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SECRETARY 385
  2. PRESIDENT 330
  3. GENERAL SECRETARY 195
  4. PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS SECRETARY 181
  5. COORDINATING SECRETARY 166
  6. TREASURER 156
  7. EDUCATION AND DEMOCRATIZATION 150
  8. WOMEN COMMISIONER 140
  9. PRESS AND INFORMATION SECRETARY 133
  10. FINANCIAL CONTROLLER 127

From the above there is a great deal of competition among the aspirants for International Relations Secretary with 385 votes, followed by the Presidential aspirants with 330, the General Secretary position follows with 195 votes, P&P also follows with 181 votes, CS with 166 Votes, Treasurer with 156 Votes, then we have Education and Demo with 150 Votes, Vote, WOCOM with 140 Votes, Press & Info with 133 votes and finally FC with 127 Votes.

Aspirants for the most competed positions like IRS, President and General Secretary will therefore have to step up their campaign whiles aspirants for FC should note that a little more effort may see one sail through with ease. Aspirants for Press and Info. Secretary should have scored the highest score by now but this is not the reflective index showing clearly that delegates will have to scrutinize aspirants for the Position of Press and Information Secretary a little more, that is if my assertion is right.

It can also be concluded confidently that if the Elections were held today and assuming this poll is a fair representation of the opinions of delegates, then the following shall be the executive officers of NUGS

PRESIDENT:         Prosper Mawuyewoe  Dzitse    43%
GENERAL SEC:     Iddi Muhayu-Deen                  53%
