The number of votes cast per each category helps as to determine how competitive each category is and so far, as per the level of competition,
1. INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SECRETARY 305
2. PRESIDENT 186
3. GENERAL SECRETARY 155
4. PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS SECRETARY 151
5. EDUCATION AND DEMOCRATIZATION 124
6. TREASURER 120
7. COORDINATING SECRETARY 118
8. WOMEN COMMISIONER 103
9. PRESS AND INFORMATION SECRETARY 104
10. FINANCIAL CONTROLLER 100

From the above there is a great deal of competition among the aspirants for International Relations Secretary with 305 vote, followed by the Presidential aspirants with 186, the General Secretary position keenly follows with 155 votes, P&P also follows with 151 votes, then we have Education and Demo with 124 Votes, Treasurer with 120 Votes, CS with 118Vote, WOCOM with 103 Votes, Press & Info with 70votes and finally FC with 100 Votes.

Aspirants for the most competed positions like IRS, President and General Secretary will therefore have to step up their campaign whiles the Aspirant for Education and Democratisation will have to tighten some loose nuts to prevent people canvassing votes against him even though there has been a slight improvement in his Yes votes.

It can also be concluded confidently that if the Elections were held today and assuming this poll is a fair representation of the opinions of delegates, then the following shall be the executive officers of NUGS

PRESIDENT:         Prosper Mawuyewoe  Dzitse            37%
