Government has started the process to place the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) under the ministry of Education.
This is to enable NAFTI to access the funds from the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund).
NAFTI underwent its transition into creative and media university and is currently under the aegis of the Ministry of Information.
The Deputy Minister in charge of Tertiary Education, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa had disclosed.
He said the ministry of Education and Information would soon present a joint memorandum on the issue for consideration by Cabinet.
