VEGETARIAN

This is the practices of abstaining from the consumption of meat- red meat.
There are types of vegetarians; they are:

1.Ova - vegetarian
2.Lacto- vegetarian
3.Ovao- lacto vegetarian
4.Vegan.

Ova-Vegetarian are vegetarian who consume eggs but not dairy products.

Lacto- Vegetarian are people who consume dairy products but not eggs.

Ovao - Lacto Vegetarian are people who consume both dairy products and eggs..

Vegans are people who don't eat and use animal products.

I am more interested in the last type than the rest. Vegans!! Who are these type of VEGETARIANS??? Like I defined them earlier, they are people who consume plant diets. They are just plant consumers simply put. They eat a lot of green vegetables, fruits, vegetables, nuts and cereals and grains
Some vegans also avoid beeswax and honey. Animal products such as leather for clothing and goose fat for shoe polish.

So do VEGANS get protein at all??
I have heard the debate being made that vegans lack protein. Hmmm really?? Vegans do not lack protein as people debate. On the contrary vegans get their source of protein from plants. Vegans get their source of protein from soya beans, nuts, cowpea, avocado pea and all kinds of beans. Vegans also eat fruits and vegetables as well..

The typical meal or diet of a vegan consist mainly of cereals and grains, nuts, fruits and vegetables.. So please the next time someone tells you, he or she is a vegan, please don't ask if he or she takes egg..

All the above food are vegan dishes without any animal products.. Purely plant base and very nutritions.

  1. As the father of a vegetarian (I don't know if he is a vegan), I find your article/blog very interesting. The food certainly looks delicious and I know it can be and is nutritious as well. I can only assume it is a challenge wherever you are to be a vegetarian of any sort. My son lives and works in Afghanistan. How he finds enough to eat is a good question, but he seems healthy enough.
