We have cautiously monitored the unfortunate attitude by the government towards Polytechnic Teachers' demand for their book and research allowance. This feet-dragging conduct of government is undoubtedly and undeniably further increasing the public image of polytechnic education in Ghana.
People register pitying facial expression when one proudly boasts being a product of polytechnic. The thought of it even frustrates us, the old graduates of polytechnic.
It will be an unpardonable botch if we do not react on actions of government, because it's excavated path will affect enrolment into polytechnic.
We passionately appeal to government to urgently settle scores to restore the diminishing image of Polytechnics; failure will leave us with nothing than alumni demonstration nationwide.
All stakeholders must speak in solidarity of comrades in school.
Our lives begun from polytechnic.
Long live Ghana
Long live polytechnic education.
