WOMAN; STAY AWARE, STAY HEALTHY REPRODUCTIVE SEMINAR & SCREENING.


The Women's Commission of the National Union of Ghana Students on Saturday the 25th of January 2014 organised a reproductive health seminar and screening for tertiary and second cycle institutions in the country at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.

The seminar was under the theme : Woman ; Stay Aware, Stay Healthy. And it had ladies from the host school KNUST, University of Education and Natural Resources,  University of Cape Coast, Ghana Institute of Languages, University of Ghana City Campus, UDS Navrongo, Christian Service University College, Ghana Baptist University, University of Education - Kumasi Campus, Kumasi Anglican Secondary School, Elite College, T. I. Ahmadiyya Secondary School.

The speakers for the seminar were Pharm. Antwi Apenteng & Pharm. Nana Ama Mireku-Gyimah of the faculty of Pharmacy, KNUST.
The talk was followed with a cervical cancer screening by the SOS Medical Centre , a breast cancer screening by Pink Aware and HIV testing by PPAG Ghana.

The commission expressed it's gratitude to the KNUST SRC, L/ NUGS & WOMEN'S COMMISSION, Republic Hall JCR, Kofas Media, SOS Medical Centre, Pink Aware Foundation, PPAG and national officers and Bloc Executives who made it to the program.
