As a result of an ongoing investigations at the National Service Secretariat, service personnel may be disadvantaged with regards to timely payment of allowances.
However, our service personnel in spite of any possible challenges have expressed their commitment to serve the country.
NASPA has earlier expressed its full support to the ongoing investigations; we are however mindful of the many inconveniences this may pose to the welfare of our members.
By way of mitigating the hardships several service personnel are going through, NASPA wishes to appeal to civil society, chiefs, charity organisations, churches, individual and the general public to lend some support to our service personnel at their various posts as and when the occasion demands.
Apart from financial support, our service personnel will deeply appreciate all other support in the form of grocery, provisions, toiletries and the necessary courtesies that will afford them a comfortable stay.
We continuously count on the magnanimity of the nation in these times of hardship as we pledge to serve the country in the fullness of our youthful capacities.
